I thought that this was a very interesting video. I learned that if you did not agree to the Nazi party, they would affect your life. An example is that this man's father lost his job because he said no not to join the Nazis. I also learned that many people probabaly joined the Nazis because of their patriotism. Another thing that I learned was that kids were recruited into the Hitler Youth at a very young age and that they would be officers before they would be twenty. It is amazing to see what happened during this time.

This was a very powerful video. It showed how a man can get past a life that is filled with suffering and pain and turn himself to God. This was a great example of someone living their life to the fullest and always staying a believer or becoming a new believer no matter what they have been through.

This video really shows how many Nazi "supporters" or soldiers might not have been working for them by choice. The Nazi party forced people to work for the government. If people rejected the Nazis they could lose their job, their rights, and possibly sent to a concentration or forced labor camp.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great video is general. If someone that is beginning to lean about the Nazi Regime, then this video is the one to see. This video gives people the idea to how people in Germany and all over Europe had to be forced to do things. It shows you how powerful the government was in the Nazi Regime, and how much control they had of people. They made them have fear of this nation, and the people fell for it. They now knew that if they did not follow the rules that the Nazi Regime put out for them, then they could be sent to concentration camps, with this they would be separated from their families, they would lose their jobs, and face death.
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was horrible how strong the connections of the Nazi Party ran in Germany. If you were not a part of the Nazi Party then the consequences would be very bad such as people treating you different and you might have lost your job. It is very similar to the the novel "the Book Thief" where one of the main characters refuses to join the Nazi Party and then he lost his job and people in his town looked down upon him.
