What would be a good place to look for more info on Charlie Baker and Tim Cahill's Stances?
ReplyDeleteEducation is a key component in the Govenors election because education represents the future. With a strong solid education we will be a better nation. If our schools are strong are kids will enhance their knowledge. Kids are our future leaders if we want a strong government in the future we need to supply our future leaders with a strong education. Charlie Baker wants to stay with our standards making MCAS a requirenment to graduate. Also he believes in closing the educational gap between underprivelaged kids. This demonstrates an important topic that we learned in 7th grade. This topic being Social Justice meaning that everyone should have equal rights and equal oppurtunity to strive towards excellence. I agree fully with Charlie Baker that everyone should have the oppurtunity to recieve a quality education. Deval Patrick is also striving for better education to get our generation out of this grueling economy and prevent us from making the same mistakes he wants to make education better by reducing class sizes extending the school year and day as well as decreasing class sizes. In order to shape Massachusetts for the future we must improve education.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Mike on this one and i totally agree that education is the foundation of our future government officials and world. I think education is so important in this years' election because parents want to see their children receive a good education so they can someday get a job, support a family, or maybe even become a future government official. Also, if a candidate is somehow against a basic rule of education, people will not want to vote for them because it is a rough world and parents want to see their children strive and become a great person. Education could completely sway the tide of this election because education is the most important thing you can give someone. It is so important because all the things of this world in some way, shape, or form use education. With education, people can get a job, do something they love, make money to support themselves and maybe a family, and many other things. I think that school is a huge deal in our world and although some children don't love to do the work and wake up early, they may not know that their future relies mainly on education (unless they are some superstar athlete or artist which is very unlikely). Also, i think that education can give everyone opportunities to succeed in this bad economy and that could also change the election because everyone wants the same opportunity as the next guy. These are some of my views on education.

ReplyDeleteI fully agree with Andrew and Mike because anyone of us could be the next President of the United States of America and I think the education should be on top of everyone’s list of things to pay attention to or to invest into because we are the leaders of tomorrow. I think that everyone, every child rich or poor should get a good education and they can decide what they want to do with it. I think that all of the candidates would like to make MA a great educational state and would strive in doing so.
I agree with Cullen, Mike, and Andrew that education is one of the most important things in our lives. In order to succeed in life with a well-paying job, we need a good education. if one wants to support a family, they need a good education to make decisions. Education is very important and everyone should receive a good education so then can succeed in life. Massachusetts is a very good state when it comes to education, but it still can be better. All of the candidates in the governor for 2010 all believe in a strong education. As Cullen said, we are the leaders of tomorrow so we can start with a good education.
ReplyDeleteI agree with cullen, mike, andrew, and greg for many resons. I belive that education is by far thye most important thing that a person must obtain throughout their life. Without an education a person will not be able to obtain a job;therefore will not be able to support there familly. An education is crucial part, if not the msot important thig in Life. A good education will allow a perosn to have the job that htey want and can really enjoy. Kids these days do not take school seriously;however this is a very big mistake becasue without an education you most likely will not suceed in life(unless you are a proffesional athlete......ect). I believe that all children should be given a education;howver all kids must work very hard in school in order to get good grades. Being accepted ato a good unviersity or college should be the goal of all kids. Even though some may not be able to afford a top quality education, they still should do anyhting in there power to attempt to obtain a good education. These days school is thought to be miserable for most people;but they do not realize that it is very important. Overall I agree that education is the key to the future and should be looked upon as the most important thing in life.
ReplyDeleteEducation is important to this election because, at this point in time, people are looking ahead to try to see if there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are all trying to see if, in the near or far future, our situation will brighten up. If we have great educational systems, test scores will go up, kids can get into more prestigious schools and can get better jobs. Whoever promises this is given a great deal of attention from all types of people, because everyone just wants this thing over and done with and back on track with the economy.
